Four pillars of the platform. Below, each area is explained in detail so you know what you get before you register.
University students find places through listings and bookings; accommodation partners work with compliance expectations so the ecosystem stays accountable end to end.
Details →Social life around real venues: students and locations work together — and tie into marketplace offers and rides or delivery where those journeys are live.
Details →High school through university: peer collaboration, study buddies, and structured help — online tools plus space for in-person study and teacher-style interaction where people arrange it.
Details →Partner stores and student buyers meet in one marketplace: curated for campus life, with room to grow alongside venues and accommodation services.
Details →Study paths
Designed for high school, FET phase, and university learners, the platform provides open-access educational guides alongside secure, personalised tools for registered users. It extends beyond individual study by enabling collaborative learning, allowing students to connect with peers, form study groups, and exchange academic questions, while also accessing structured FET phase tutoring, as well as tutors, mentors, and educator-level support where available. The platform supports fully digital learning environments and accommodates in-person collaboration where users choose to meet and engage in face-to-face learning.
Matric & high school
Signed-in journey for learners and families: subjects, exams, results, bursaries, sports, diagnostics, planning, practice, notifications — with space for educator-style guidance and peer support alongside school work.
University hub
Planner, grades, timer, notes, flashcards, study buddies, groups, sessions, homework Q&A, petitions where enabled — one place to coordinate how you actually study.
Peer ↔ pro help
Collaboration between student helpers and more experienced tutors or teachers: share explanations, book sessions, and learn from each other — not only from static content.
Online + physical
Digital tools for every day; when you arrange a meet-up, library session, or class-style slot off-platform, the app still holds your plan, reminders, and continuity.
Public library (no account)
Guides, past papers, APS calculator, deadlines, applications, bursaries, tips, subject choice, plan B, offers, life trackers, and grocery-price pages where published — same ecosystem, zero sign-up.
Where you stay
Students at public and private tertiary institutions can search by city and property type, evaluate available listings, and follow a structured booking and documentation process when selecting accommodation. Accommodation partners manage all enquiries through a centralised pipeline to ensure consistency and efficiency. Where applicable, compliance and verification processes are integrated into the journey, ensuring that requirements and expectations are addressed prior to placement rather than retrospectively. Where suitable options are unavailable, aggregated demand signals are used to identify gaps within specific areas and highlight unmet student accommodation needs.
Discovery
City and listing discovery; property detail pages when published.
Booking
Booking path and lease-related documents where the product supports them.
Compliance handoff
Where enabled, verification layers connect to accommodation flows so students and partners share clear expectations.
Partners
Landlords and operators — Partners · Accommodation.
Student commerce
The marketplace connects partner stores with student buyers in a trusted ecosystem. Providers complete a structured onboarding process and manage their own storefronts, product listings, and order flows, while students access curated storefronts and offers in one place. Where enabled, checkout is seamless and integrated. Students can discover deals alongside accommodation options, campus venues, and everyday student life, creating a unified and convenient experience.
Students ↔ partners
Browse categories and listings built for res life; complete orders when checkout is live.
One ecosystem
Marketplace surfaces can connect to venues, accommodation-adjacent offers, and delivery or pickup journeys where those product links exist.

Places & people
Campus and local life form the social layer of the platform, connecting students to real-world venues such as gyms, food outlets, service providers, and everyday social spaces they actively use. Through a low-code configuration, venues can be added to the map, enable check-ins and updates, and share stories. Where supported, they can also integrate with marketplace promotions, as well as ride and delivery services, ensuring students can easily access locations or receive goods and services when needed.
Venues & map
Discovery, map and list experiences after sign-in.
Students & places
Check-ins and stories so social life stays tied to real locations, not only feeds.
Linked journeys
Order ahead, bookings, appointments, laundry — depending on what each venue offers and what is live.
Operators
When available
We bring getting around and getting things delivered into one seamless flow where students can request trips on Unirides when the service is live, while partner drivers manage trips, payouts, and preferences through dedicated dashboards. Where enabled, options such as shuttles, group trips, and shared-trip flows are available, alongside Unieats for food delivery to residences, venues, or pinned locations as features roll out in each area. Loyalty rewards and promotions may apply where configured, and availability depends on rollout, with the signed-in app always reflecting what is currently live in real time.
Unirides
Request and manage trips after sign-in where live.
Unieats
Branch from “transport only” into meals and drop-offs as the product expands — same student ↔ partner pattern.
Partner drivers
Dashboards for payouts, preferences, and programme rules where you are onboarded.
Programme
Work opportunities
Public vacancy listings describe roles aimed at students or graduates. Candidates can read full descriptions and follow the application flow published with each role. This is separate from marketplace stores and venue listings — it is for employment and similar opportunities.
After you join
After registration you get a dashboard, account settings, document uploads where required, and an in-app notification centre. For human help, use the contact page or support chat when you are logged in. We aim to respond to contact form messages within one business day where possible.
B2B
For StudentJunxion partners offering accommodation, retail, venue experiences, or mobility and delivery services, the platform provides a structured framework where each business line has its own onboarding process, compliance requirements, and student-facing interface. Accommodation and compliance programmes can be integrated where applicable, while marketplace and venue partners may engage the same students at different touchpoints across their journey. Partners can begin from the dedicated partner hub and select the relevant category for their offering, rather than relying solely on student-facing marketing to navigate the platform.
Integrators & trust
Common questions from payment partners and institutions — summarised here; binding detail lives in our legal terms.
Payments are processed securely through Paysharp. When a client books a service, the full payment is made upfront via our platform. Funds are held temporarily (or in escrow, if applicable). Once the service is successfully delivered and confirmed, the service provider receives their payout minus any applicable commission. In cases of disputes or cancellations, funds may be held until resolution. We do not store card details; all payment data is handled securely by Paysharp in compliance with industry standards.
Read payments & fees in Terms →We take onboarding seriously to ensure trust and quality on the platform. All service providers go through a vetting process, including submission of valid government-issued ID, proof of address, bank account verification, business registration documents (if applicable), and review of experience, qualifications, or certifications depending on the service category. We may also conduct background checks and periodic reviews to maintain quality standards.
Verification & safety in Terms →Our pricing model is commission-based: service providers list their services at their own prices, and we charge a percentage commission on each completed transaction. There are no mandatory subscription fees (unless otherwise introduced for premium features in the future). This ensures providers only pay when they earn.
Clients can raise a dispute within a specified timeframe after service delivery. Both the client and service provider are required to provide evidence or details. Our support team reviews the case and mediates fairly. If necessary, refunds (full or partial) may be issued based on findings. We aim to resolve all disputes promptly and transparently.
Dispute resolution in Terms →Cancellations before service delivery: clients may cancel within a defined window for a full or partial refund, depending on timing. After service delivery: refunds are only issued in cases of poor service, non-delivery, or valid disputes. Service providers may also cancel under certain conditions, but repeated cancellations may lead to penalties or suspension. All refund decisions are made in line with our platform policies and after proper review.
Refunds in Terms →Questions? Contact us — we aim to reply within one business day where possible.
We connect students to housing, learning, commerce, campus venues, rides and delivery where available, and career opportunities, while enabling providers, retailers, and compliance partners to reach this audience through clear and responsible pathways. The platform continues to evolve, and this page reflects what is currently live, so you can explore, sign up, or partner with us.
We set clear expectations for listings and partner conduct where our processes apply. Payments use mainstream, encrypted flows when you pay through the platform. For how disputes and refunds are framed in contract, see the Terms and the payments & policies summary above. For help, use Contact or in-app support.
We publish partner guidance and use reviews, reporting, and moderation workflows so students know how listings are expected to behave.
Where checkout is offered, card and wallet flows run through established payment infrastructure — not ad-hoc transfers unless explicitly part of a product flow you choose.
Use Contact for email; we aim to reply within 24 hours on business days. Logged-in users can also use support chat when enabled.
