Partner Settlement Agreement

1. Appointment as payee

You appoint StudentJunxion (Pty) Ltd ("Platform") to collect payments from students/buyers on your behalf for transactions completed through the Platform. StudentJunxion acts as merchant of record for on-platform checkout.

2. Collection & ledger

All qualifying transactions are collected into the Platform merchant account. Your share is credited to your payee balance after payment confirmation, minus applicable platform commission and reserves.

3. Platform commission

Commission rates vary by vertical: transport 12% (drivers keep 88%), marketplace 8%, venue retail 10%, study sessions 15% (buddies keep 85%), and food/UniEats a flat per-order fee plus the courier delivery fee. Subscription accounts pay their subscription only and are charged no transaction commission. Commission is disclosed at checkout and in your partner dashboard.

4. Payout schedule

• Standard weekly settlement (Monday cycle)
• Minimum payout threshold: R100
• Payouts via EFT through the Platform payment gateway (placeholder until merchant ID live)
• Payouts require FICA/KYC clearance and bank details on file

5. Reserves & chargebacks

The Platform may withhold up to 5% of your balance as a rolling reserve. Chargebacks, refunds, and fraud losses may be debited from your balance or future payouts.

6. KYC / FICA obligations

Individual partners must provide ID and proof of address. Registered businesses must provide company registration (CIPC), tax clearance where applicable, and authorised representative ID. Student sellers operating as individuals provide student account confirmation plus banking details. Identity checks may be performed by StudentJunxion review (our designated verification partner) or by StudentJunxion manual review. When complete, partners may see Verified with StudentJunxion review on payout-related status in the platform.

7. Accommodation carve-out

Accommodation rent and deposits are excluded from this agreement. Those payments remain direct student-to-landlord and are not collected by StudentJunxion.
